February 2020: Dvorak Reimagined
Back by popular demand! Creative Concert Group returns to community venues in Baltimore, Maryland, for an exciting program of Dvorak’s Piano Quintet and Cello Concerto, arranged for string quartet and cello solo.
March 2020: ensemble132
In a new project for piano quartet, the idea of virtuoso chamber music is explored to the fullest - Schumann’s Carnaval suite is transformed in a new chamber music arrangement that brings forth new colors and characters to the original piano masterpiece. The program will also include Brahms’ venerable Piano Quartet No. 3.
March 2019: Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3
Sahun Hong, joined by Creative Concert Group artists Stephanie Zyzak, Lun Li, Luther Warren, and Jacques-Pierre Malan presented a string quartet and solo piano version for several audiences in Maryland, including the Korean Graduate Students Association at Johns Hopkins University, and the Benny Morgan Series in Leonardtown MD.
April 2019: Dvorak Reimagined
Creative Concert Group’s second tour program featured cello soloist Jacques-Pierre Malan, joined by ensemble members Sammy Andonian, Ledah Finck, Tanner Menees, and Mauricio Rey Gallego. They received a highly enthusiastic reception for their performance of the all-Dvorak program at Friends of Chamber Music in Lutherville MD, and the Ward Virts Series in Prince Frederick MD.
